Using Your Voice To Get More Clients

I hear many coaches talk about how they want to attract more clients.  Yes, we all need to attract more clients to sustain and grow our business, but the initial focus should not be on clients, it should be about prospects...and a lot of them.

You can’t just turn people into clients if they have no idea who you are, what your ideas are or what products and services you offer.

Remember the cardinal rule…people do business with those they know, like and trust.

Today, we’re talking about ways to attract the prospects you’re looking for.  The critical thing to remeber is you should be looking to attract prospects, then look to turn those prospects into paying clients.  This is especially true if you’re just getting started in your coaching business.

Speaking is a primary foundational element for your business and you must engage in it, on a regular basis, to move the needle forward in your coaching business.

A lot of coaches say they just want to coach. But here’s the thing: you’re not just a coach.  You are a speaker, a teacher, and then a coach.

Your goal should be to drive as many people as possible to your business thorugh speaking and teaching, so they get to know you, and the ones that resonate with you will want more.

Those that want more are your hot leads, who you now have the opportunity to more easily convert into paying clients.

The fastest path to cash, is to speak.

You really need to get out there and speak and here are just 5 quick things you can do.

  1. You could create your own workshops, althugh filling your own room is hard work.
  2. You could speak at networking events. There are dozens of these happening each week.
  3. You could speak to other groups and associations. There are many groups putting on meetings that would love to have guest speakers.
  4. You could speak at seminars that would love to have speakers in their breakout sessions.
  5. You could be a sponsor of a seminar or get a booth where you could talk to people during the breaks.

Always remeber, you are a You are a speaker, a teacher, and then a coach.

Even if you only did one of these things every week, or even just one a month, you should begin to see a rise in the prospects you attract and consequently an increase in the number of paying clients you attract.

You can also do online worshops or webinars.
