The #1 Reason Why Most Coaches Fail

Did you know that your own self image will make or break your ability to achieve your goals and the success you see for yourself?

It's true – What you believe about your ability to use or understand technology to grow your Coaching business will determine what you do and do not achieve.

If you’re a Coach, you of course already you know this.

In today’s world, I believe everyone understands that the use of technology is an integral part of growing any business.

Then why is it, that over 75% of the Coaches I meet repeatedly affirm, both in writing and verbally, that they are a technology newbie or novice, using statements like “I know nothing about technology”, “I’ll never understand technology”, “ I just don’t get technology”, “technology is for young people”, and so many others just like those.

You are Coaches for goodness sake.  Do you not teach and work with others how to overcome their own paradigms or limiting beliefs.

Hey, it’s okay not to know something, but to decide that you do not have have ability to learn about the very thing that will drive your success, before you even get started, is why most Coaches fail.

If you believe that you are capable of using technology to grow your business, or not, you get to be right.  If you believe you can create great content, or not, you get to be right.  If you believe you can implement landing pages, use email marketing, distribute your content over the Internet, have a shopping cart, use online payment processing, create membership or continuity programs, or not, you get to be right again.

You have the power to decide what you believe.  As a Coach, you know this!

Choose a more empowering self-image, as it pertains to the use of technology in your business, and give yourself a real chance of succeeding; of serving the many individuals that are out there just waiting for you and what you have to offer.

“Confront the dark parts of yourself, and work to banish them
with illumination and forgiveness. Your willingness to wrestle
with your demons will cause your angels to sing.”

~ August Wilson

You have to learn to quiet the small voice in your mind that is telling you that you are not good enough, smart enough, strong enough, or whatever it’s telling you, so that you can embrace and use the tools needed to succeed.

When you hear yourself thinking or saying things like “I’ll never understand technology”, try hitting what is commonly called “The Pause Button” and just stop yourself; yell “STOP” if you have to, but you must stop yourself from thinking or saying the limiting belief, so that you can replace that thought with a more empowering and self-affirming thought.

You’ve probably heard of a "self-fulfilling prophecy", which says you will cause something to become true, by the use of the very terms of the prophecy itself, driven by positive energy between belief and behavior.  Which means, if you are saying or thinking that “technology is too hard for me to use in my business”, then you get to be right!
